Who we are

PromptFoundry AI ("we", "us") operates a community platform for discovering, sharing and remixing prompts for AI image and video tools. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, apps and APIs (the "Service").

Information we collect

Account information. When you register we collect your email address, username, display name and a password (stored only as a salted, one-way hash). If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.

Profile information you choose to add. Bio, website, location, social links and avatar. These are public.

Content you publish. Prompts, descriptions, uploaded images and videos, comments, collections and reports. Public prompts and comments are visible to everyone.

Activity. Likes, saves, follows, copies, shares and views. We use this to power trending rankings, recommendations and creator analytics.

Technical data. IP address, browser type, device type and referring page. For anonymous analytics such as view and copy counts we store a salted hash of your IP address and user agent, never the raw IP.

Newsletter. If you subscribe we store your email address, the time you gave consent and a hashed record of where it was given.

How we use information

• To provide and secure the Service, including preventing spam, abuse and fraud.
• To rank and recommend prompts (for example, trending and "similar prompts").
• To show creators aggregated analytics about their own prompts.
• To send transactional messages (password resets, important account notices).
• To send the newsletter, only if you opted in.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your private content to train AI models.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

We rely on contract (to run your account), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies) and legal obligation where applicable.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who host, deliver email or protect the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it; with authorities when required by law; or in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Deleted prompts and comments are removed from public view immediately and purged from backups on a rolling cycle. Security logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@promptfoundryai.in and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app.
